My heart is like a bottle with the world inside

You love me, that must be why

Name: Nina
Age: I'm an Old Soul.
Location: I live in the Milky Way Galaxy on a planet called Earth . . .
Personality: I'm just a basic, average girl of many shades and dimensions. I am highly introvert and tend to feel awkwardly out of place in social gatherings. I am a survivalist, cautiously protective of my heart and trust doesn't come easy for me, but once I do, I am extremely loyal and affectionate towards those selected few who deserve my love. High sensitivity is also a character trait that describes me well, as is calmness and intuition. My distinct sense for adventure sometimes gets me into risky situations, especially while traveling. Though I can be opinionated, I am mostly very open-minded and extremely observant. Intellectual curiosity often gets the better of me, leading me to read up on all kinds of interesting stuff like history, anthropology/archeology, psychology/philosophy, ethnology, heraldry, you name it. This thirst of knowledge is probably also a reason why I love to get inside a character's mind and pick apart their feelings and motivations. Apart from that I like to think that I'm able to perceive people and read them well. I tend to be impossibly impatient with myself, while I am able to exercise a lot of patience when it comes to my photography. I am an idealist daydreamer, with a side dish of realism and I value my independence highly. My imagination sometimes runs amok with me and I adhere to my interests with a near child-like passion.
Occupation: I am holding a master's degree in public administration.
Likes: I love photography and I try my best to be as creative, resourceful and expressive as can be with my art. Most people might call me a bookworm of the first order and I'm a bit of a quote nerd. Then there's my egregiously subtle tendency to obsess over certain celebrities for various stretches of time. I have extensive knowledge of Native American history and culture, it's one of my main passions and I adapted a lot of their beliefs. My biggest love is that for Mother Nature, I am very outdoorsy. I guess that pigeon-holes me into a belief system the likes of Neo-Paganism/Wiccan/Nature religion. I like the artworks of both Luis Royo and Victoria Frances and I have a thing for muscle cars.
Dislikes: As someone who's been prejudiced for almost all of her life, I really dislike people who judge me without knowing my story and people who are narrow-minded. Very unlike any woman I know, I absolutely DETEST shopping and I only own three pair of shoes and two handbags (just to point out one of the general gender bias toward my species). I am also not maternal material – I do like kids, so long they're not my own and I can hand them off to their mothers after a while. Numbers and me do not mix, I am kind of a self-diagnosed member of the "dyscalculia club". My biggest phobia is algae and jellyfish (don't even ask!) and I have a serious issue with phones.
Travels: I've been to various cities all over Germany and I've been to Paris, Venice and London as well as Prague, Budapest and Amsterdam. Two different trips to Turkey brought me to Alanya and various locations up and down the Aegean coast. Travels to Lanzarote, Crete and Corsica belong to my favorite childhood memories. I've also taken a road trip through Florida down to the Keys and another three-week one leading cross-country from San Francisco to New York, via New Orleans and Nashville. I've done a road trip through Andalusia in Spain, which included stops in Seville, Granada, Córdoba, Ronda, Nerja, Málaga, Gibraltar and even Tangier in Morocco. I've also fulfilled a life-long dream of mine and traveled a few filming locations of the 60's Karl May movies in Croatia. Recently I've added a trip to Vienna to my map of traveled places. Though, Montana is where my heart resides. That said, I am a bit of a travel whore and I long to see various locations spread out over all continents all across the globe.
Random bits: I am right handed, I don't eat red meat and I can't act or carry a tune to save my life, which goes along with my hearing disability. I am fluent in German Sign Language, I have six tattoos and two piercings, a distinct aversion against scorching hot sunshine and just as distinct a preference for gloomy weather. My favorite colors are black and blue. People have often called me a geek/nerd and I am proud of that. I consider myself a lover of horses, dogs/wolves and cats of all sizes, in addition to countless of other four-legged animals and marine mammals. IMO Facebook, Twitter and the likes is the dumbest shit ever. My mind works in strange ways by holding on to the most random trivia stuff – "Little Miss Wikipedia", a friend calls me. I have a habit of dropping random quotes from books, movies or television in conversations, even though I'm the only one who gets the reference, usually.
